Born in 1951, Ramon Monegal has had quite the career in the perfumery industry. He first started his training at Myrurgia. This training was later supplemented in 1977 when he began his studies at the Barcelona Design Centre. Monegal finally got the opportunity to develop his first fragrance in 1979 and called it Alada. In 2007, Monegal went independent and started creating his own fragrances without any outside interference. Since 2007, he has managed to work outside the box to develop truly unique aromas.
