In 1932, the founders Charles Revson, Joseph Revson and Charles Lachman created a unique manufacturing process for nail enamels. The standard practice at the time was to use dyes, but the three instead used pigments. This decision proved successful, and by 1937, the nail polishes were available in pharmacies and department stores. Charlie, one of its most popular lines of perfumes, began in 1973. The advertising campaign was notable at the time as it utilized the first perfume ads showing a woman dressed in pants. All products are original, authentic name brands. Exactly the same scent
They changed the bottle but the exactly the same scent since 1998 the year i smelled this from a friend. I WILL use it on summertime.

Old time favorite
This perfume was nostalgic of the college days. It is light scent and not overpowering. The bottle changed, it is used to be frosted but the scent is the same classic scent i remember from 15 years ago. The shipping was fast. It was delivered in just 3 days.

An oldie but definitely a goodie!
I discovered Charlie White years ago and fell in love with it. Can't find it in stores anymore and was so happy when I found it again on the FragranceX website. This inexpensive cologne is fantastic smelling. I can't begin to count how many times people have stopped me to ask what I'm wearing. It's long lasting but not overpowering, and it smells positively delicious!

Refreshing scent
Charlie White is an all-time favorite of mine. I had used it in my younger years and enjoyed the refreshing scent, that is not so overpowering. That is why I was delighted to see that it was still available at FragranceX.com. Sad thing is that I noticed that the scent quickly fades as soon as you spray it on.

Refreshing, youthful scent
I had used this fragrance in my younger days and after several decades I found it again in FragranceX.com. The scent is still refreshing, but sad to say it doesn't seem to last for a second. It quickly fades. The price is reasonably affordable. Delivery is efficient and fast, considering that I made the order from the Philippines.

Jury still out
Can no longer buy this in-store. This was my favorite scent for years. Not sure its the same scent as it used to be? It's a bit different but I can't quite put my finger on it. The color in the bottle is definitely more yellow than I recall. I'll have to try it a few more times to see if I still like it.

A Classic at a bargain price...
I've used Charlie White for years and FragranceX is one of the few places I can find it. Love, love, love this cologne and the price can't be beat. Although I will say that the frosted bottle they show online is what I used to get and it smelled way better than what they deliver now, which is in a clear bottle. In any case, it's still a great scent but would love to have the formula in the frosted bottle back again. I get lots of compliments every time I wear Charlie White and people are always asking where they can buy it.

I have worn this perfume daily for EVERY occasion for almost 20 years and I will only stop when it becomes unavailable!! I get compliments daily on how great I smell!! This product has been discontinued and Fragrance X is the best deal for my money!! Boutique hard to find shops in my area sell it for 4 times as much! Shipping times are minimal even to Canada!! Promo Codes are always available and in my most recent purchase I opened up my package to find a 'little something special' added to my order. I always refer friends for the great deals

Pencil shavings
I tried this after reading several reviews about how clean and fresh it is, so I was anxious to try it. Now that I've got it, all I can think of when I try to use it is pencil shavings. Smells like freshly sharpened pencils. I guess I never minded that smell, but don't want to smell like that! I asked my son what he thought, and he said it reminded him of a new dollar bill. So, I've got a huge bottle that didn't cost very much but I'm afraid it's just going to sit there or I'll give it away.

This Perfume is the best Ever
I use Charlie all Day and in the evening , it is one of the nicest fragrances I have ever worn. I dont like a Musky Aroma it makes me feel a little sick. The Charlie I have worn for years my Father first bought it for me attached to a St Bernard Dog I still have the Dog. My Father isn't with me anymore but I think of him everytime I use my Charlie White and the Charlie Gold which came out after the Charlie White. Keep making this beautiful perfume it is so Lovely you feel like a Princess wearing it.So many people say to me what perfume are you wearing it is Lovely.
