I've had the original and liked it, but the musk from RC is much better. After an hour I could not stop smelling my arm. It was like I was addicted! I really like it. It was the aftershave that I used. I will definitely be buying the cologne!

it's not the same
i started wearing this cologne back in the mid 70s. let me tell ya, the fragrance isn't the same. it was so beautiful back then. the compliments NEVER stopped. it lasted all day back then. today's fragrance doesn't come close. i, like all the others who bought it in the 70s all say the same thing - it ain't the same. if ya'll think what you are buying now is good, you'd go bunkers if you could get that 70s smell - it hit like mike tyson in a good way. i would not recommend the present cologne to anyone, however if you could capture the 70s smell - oh boy i would.

Wore Royal Copenhagan and Royal Copenhagan Musk in the late 70's and early 80's. Decided to revisit it based on reviews--and am happy I did. Just received in the mail today. Very happy with the service received from Fragrance X. Delivered in a timely fashion and factory sealed. Smells great, and has impressive longevity for a cologne. I would put it to the same group with Jovan Musk of musky fragrances. But this one is more mild in comparison to Jovan, and I prefer this to Jovan. The cons: it doesn't last too long. Could become someone's signature. Classical fragrance

This fragrance is so compelling I followed a man out of an elevator to find out what it was to buy it for my boyfriend, who is now my husband. it is a very full fragrance and he gets many positive compliments on it. It isn't available in our area but it is worth tracking it down. It has an initial attraction and an undertone that makes you want to get in closer. Many fragrances have one or the other. This one has both. I buy it for him for Christmas. A gift for both of us!
