Shawn Mendes Perfume by Shawn Mendes, Canadian pop singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes has a namesake perfume for women and men. Launched in 2017, it has sweet and fruity main accords. The fragrance has a strong top note of pineapple, followed by apple and lemon.
Its heart note is maple, along with rose and frangipani. The dominant dulce de leche base note is accompanied by white cedar and musk. It has a weak-to-moderate longevity with soft sillage and is best worn in the spring and in the fall
during the day.
The Shawn Mendes celebrity perfume brand was launched by cosmetics and fragrance company Elizabeth Arden, whose parent company is the cosmetics company Revlon. The nose behind the fragrance is Celine Barel, a perfumer who trained at and works for International Flavors and Fragrances. The inspiration behind the scent is Mendes’ Canadian roots, which are represented by the maple and Mendes’ love of the tropics, which is embodied by the pineapple presence. Mendes, a Canadian pop star.
This scent is best described
as sweet and fruity,
and first debuted in as a unisex fragrance.
It opens with notes of
pineapple, apple, and lemon,
followed by a strong
heart note of maple syrup,
and floral notes of
frangipane and rose,
leading into a base of dulce
de leche, musk and cedar.
I recommend it for
any season but winter.
