Fou D'elle Perfume by Ted Lapidus, Fou D'elle by Ted Lapidus was released in 1997, when soft orientals were extremely popular. Some of the finest versions, including this one, have stood the test of time.
With top notes of peach, jasmine and lotus, this is an undeniably sweet fragrance, but a pepper note keeps it from being too sweet. With moderate sillage, the heart notes of freesia, hyacinth and praline develop into a breezy bouquet that lasts for hours. The base notes of vanilla and cedar
add some warmth for complexity. Fou D’elle is a youthful, fun fragrance smoothed out by the vanilla and a touch of praline.
Ted Lapidus was the Parisian son of Russian immigrants whose father was a tailor. He served as an apprentice to Christian Dior, then left at the age of only 22 to start his own label, which was very successful in the 1960’s and 70’s. He launched his first fragrance in 1970 through L’Oréal. Today, the company focuses on accessories and fragrance. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.
