Ted Lapidus founded his fashion house in 1951 in Paris, France. He is known for pioneering unisex fashions in the 1960s, popularizing blue jeans into the mainstream, and adding military and safari looks to haute couture. Fashion accessories, such as jewelry, sunglasses, and watches, were added to the offerings in the late 1970s. In 1970, Lapidus launched his first fragrance with L’Oreal. The Jacques Bogart Group has held the fragrance license since 1983. Though the haute couture line stopped production in 2000, the accessories and fragrances are still available. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Very Sexy
I live in Australia, very impressed with the delivery time 7 days, bought this cologne for Husbands birthday. along with the original Lapidus, which he loves because of the solid earthy/scent. The Gold Extreme is nothing like the original, very surprised with its texture, very subtle with a sexy under tone, long lasting gets better in time, My husband is not allowed to wear this Gold Extreme to work, because he will attract to many Garden Tools, if you get my drift, ( only Joking, or am I ??) will re order both again,

Great smell & value
If you approach this fragrance with preconcieved ideas based on the original Lapidus pour homme your likely to be dissapointed. This is modern, fresh, sweet, complex in its own right and extremely likeable and wearable. What does carry though is the quality of ingredients. It's not a cheap and simple slap together fragrance. There's thought behind the notes and has great evolution during the wear. I feel sorry for those who cant get past the original. This for me is far more wearable, likability and trust me, well noticed by others too! Yes it's more modern. It's not a 1 million dupe, it has its own character. Give it a try, a charming fragrance indeed.
