Valentina Myrrh Assoluto Perfume by Valentino, First launched in 2016, Valentina Myrrh Assoluto by Italian design house Valentino is a luxurious and distinctively feminine study in balsamic and smoky-sweet frankincense and florals.
The top notes are an intoxicating, heady fruit and flower interfusion of jasmine and tropical ylang-ylang, underscored by a sensual leather accord that brings the blend to a mysterious, seductive heart. Animalic musk and light leather intertwine with warm vanilla notes to create an utterly irresistible smoky oriental that weights lightly on the skin, but lingers for hours.
Valentino SpA is was founded by Italian designer Valentino Garavani. After retiring from the fashion industry in 2007, the company has continued under the creative direction of Pierpalo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chuiri. House fragrances were made in partnership with perfumers Aurelien Guichard, Antoine Maisondeiue, Alberto Morillas, Francoise Caron, Daniela (Roche) Andrier, Olivier Cresp, Illias Ermendis, Alexis Dadier, Olivier Polge, Daphne Bugey, Edouard Flechier and Harry Fremont.

And today, I'll be reviewing
Valentina Myrrh Assoluto
by Valentino.
This scent is very
warm and feminine,
and I really like it
as a date night scent.
I mistook this for a
rosy scent at first,
thanks to the Jasmine
and ylang ylang.
But there are no roses here.
I adore the myrrh
and leather notes.
They get the scent an unusual
sort of sophistication.
Vanilla and benzoin also
feature, but this fragrance
is really all about the myrrh.
