Very nice unisex fragrance. I was afraid it would smell like a strong fake rose smell, but it smells very nice. Slightly floral, powdery. My experience with 4711 fragrances is that they are usually very light, perfect for everyday. Suitable for "fragrance free" work places. They layer well over each other if you change your mind from day to night. They are a personal fragrance, not for those who like to leave a cloud of fragrance everywhere they go.

I spray on wrists, daily. My mother used the original 4711, a fresh citrussy scent. That was lovely. The rose scent that I purchased does not meet up to the original!
