Byredo Encens Chembur Perfume by Byredo, First released in 2008, Byredo Encens Chembur is named after the hometown of designer Ben Gorham's mother, an Aagri neighborhood located just outside Mumbai.
This evocative fragrance takes its inspiration from the precious incense used in the Hindu temples of the area. The opening notes are a shimmering aromatic blend of bergamot and lemon, which quickly dry down to a warm smoke and spice heart of ginger, nutmeg and incense. Sensuous labdanum and elemi
resin fuse with rich amber to produce a light, natural-smelling and mystical musk finish.
Ben Gorham established this Swedish perfume house in Stockholm in 2006. In addition to designer colognes and perfumes, the company currently offers luxury home fragrances, body care products and accessories. Gorham's passion for scent and its power to conjure up other places and times began after a trip to his Indian mother's hometown, where he encountered a rich tableau of incense and spice aromas. Brand fragrances were made in collaboration with designers Olivia Giacobetti and Jerome Epinette. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

My Boyfriends Favourite
This is my fave scent on my boyfriend and we have many Byredo's It is hard to find-not sure if they discontinued in Canada which is a shame. This is a more masculine scent although all the Byredos can be unisex. I prefer this one on men though. he always gets compliments-People at his work rushed out to buy this one the first time he bought it.
