Calypso Christiane Celle announced its first fragrance in 1996, with its last fragrance released in 2004. All fragrances in the line are collaborations between independent master perfumer Francis Camail and Christiane Celle, a designer who opened a shop named Calypso in 1992, which developed into Calypso St. Barth with photographer Antoine Verglas in 1995. Calypso St. Barth is a Caribbean-influenced resort wear brand that expanded its offerings into home goods and furniture. While the brand recently filed for bankruptcy, Celle and Verglas sold their majority interest in the company to a private equity investment firm in 2007. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

best smelling perfume ever
fi work as a cook all kinds of food smells on my uniform. but this fragrance last all day. its wonderful.j I get lots of compliments from men and women

smooth amber
This is such a beautiful fragrance. It's so warm and ambery. My daughter loved it too. Probably I will give the bottle to her:) The only drawback is that it is eau de toilette and needs to be reapplied during the day. Otherwise the product came in perfect shape, way before estimated arrival time. Thanks for a great service.

Not off the shelf.........
I love this perfume and wear it everyday. I just apply it to more seductive areas for evening, and I have had several men lean over and ask me what it is I am wearing. The scent is different person, to person so you never feel like you are one of the "block" of females. My sister and a coworker both wear it, and it smells differently on them, so it is unigue to the wearer. I dislike anything that has the usual over powering floral scent which have been done to the point that hey are very boring.

An amber for hot weather
The first word that comes to mind when smelling this is "bright". It is beachy-sweet wihout reeking of coconut or suntan oil. I also detect an incense note. An amber that is not too heavy to wear on a breezy, tropical beach, yet lasts a good 8-9 hours. This will be my go-to amber for summer.
