Hey, everyone. Cess here. And today, I'll be reviewing Pour Un Homme De Caron, L'eau by Caron. This men's scent is best classified as a fresh, spicy aromatic. And it launched in 2018. Lime and lavender in the opening of the scent on most evident notes, supported by heart notes of geranium and vanilla and base notes of vetiver and ambergris. It's also really versatile. Like a Watercolour

This one is a light touch. 3 adjectives that come to mind are "clear", "classy", and "calming". It's simple, even minimalist on the nose - lavender going into vanilla, which sometimes comes on as a bit of a floral marshmallow. This is a great get if you like a real lavender note, deeply relaxing and slightly bitter. The overall vibe from Caron L'eau is like a 20s watercolour, or a faded David Hockney painting - light, bright, and a bit washed out. It starts very mild, rounded, and pleasant, and almost completely vanishes within 2 hours. Even if sprayed generously, it fades very quickly on skin, so if you want a bit more of a standout, the Sport may be more appropriate (can't comment personally). It seems to last a bit longer on fabric, i.e., collars and cuffs, and layers well with other lavender notes.

Great clean office scent!

I've fallen in love with this one! It's a subtle clean scent that is inoffensive and great for office. However, add a few extra sprays; I always reapply mid-day on most fragrances anyhow. This is a great one!

Perfect Summer Scent

As the name implies it has a huge amount of Yuzu (Asian Citrus) it is not sweet citrus like a lemon drop candy its more of a fresh sour citrus but very refreshing. My favorite cologne from House of Caron
