Farnesiana Perfume by Caron, Farnesiana is a classic women’s fragrance from a fashion label releasing expertly crafted scents since the early 20th century.
Originally launched in 1947, this perfume starts off in its top notes with refreshing bergamot and mimosa, a bloom with a soft aroma evoking sweetness and innocent. The heart blends both intense and light floral accords of violet, lily-of-the-valley, lilac and jasmine. Finally, a base of vanilla and musk is enhanced by the dry earthiness of hay, the rich milky tones of sandalwood and opoponax, a type of sweet myrrh.
Caron’s legendary reputation begins in 1904 when the French perfume house began taking cues from cutting-edge trends and blending the best ingredients available to create stunning, memorable scents such as 1911’s Narcisse Noir and 1919’s Tabac Blonde. Classy, feminine - just gorgeous!
It's a beautiful fragrance that is classic and out of time. The woman wearing it is above age, but she is the quintessence of a woman. This perfume gives the feeling of something really French, expensive and authentic. I love it!
