British Sterling Him Reserve Cologne by Dana, British Sterling Him Reserve is a bold, warm and spicy oriental cologne for men released in 2014. Playful yet sophisticated, this fragrance is inspired by His Imperial Majesty King George Vi and his diligent efforts to bolster England following World War Ii. It opens with refreshing top notes of iced ginger, bergamot, cactus and mandarin orange. An aromatic heart comprised of spices, white cardamom and black pepper is balanced by bittersweet pomegranate, while rich base notes of leather, tonka bean, suede and amber add warmth to this stimulating scent.

British Sterling Cologne is a United Kingdom-based niche fragrance brand that currently belongs to Spanish parent company Dana Classic Fragrances. Established by Javier Serra in 1921, Dana brings more than 85 years of experience to its enchanting perfume and cologne collections, and its products are currently enjoyed by consumers around the world. Hey, everyone. Sheriff Sinclair here. And today I'll be reviewing HIM Reserve by British Sterling. HIM stands for His Imperial Majesty, a reference to British King George VI. And the scent is a sensual, luxurious one for classy guys, especially for fall, winter, or spring. Tonka, leather, and suede notes in the base are the most prominent notes here, supported by top notes of cactus, mandarin, bergamot, and ginger, and heart notes of pomegranate, pepper, cardamom, and other spices, as well as a dash of Amber in the base. Good product! Like the fragrance! But...I REALLY am looking for classic British Sterling in a 2.5oz spray and YOU NEVER HAVE IT!!!!! Why????

A winter signature.

Used it on a daily basis last winter. It was perfect for chilly mornings. SoberIng. Just the right amount of strength. Staying power the whole day. Comforting. Great little flask to handle. Considering reorder.

Worth a reorder.

Somewhat to my surprise I grabbed for it daly this past winter and continue still. Sometimes it's layered after a while with more woody and floral notes. Then it may hold a bit better. Actually it's quite attractive not least the flask.

My first impression.

Not like an ordinary cologne. Almost lacks woody basenote. Some tangy midnote. Might be the ginger and apples. "Creamy" and sweet notes linger. Definitely cardamom. Faintly leather behind some peppers. Nothing loud. Safe.
