It is a lovely blend of floral, citrus, and woody notes that is intended to capture the essence of a classic Moroccan dish, carpaccio d’orange, which consists of thin slices of fresh blood orange with sprinkle of cinnamon, rose water, and saffron. The top of notes of Diptyque L'eau De Tarocco include grapefruit and the eponymous Tarocco blood
orange. Its middle notes are warm and spicy bursts of ginger, cinnamon, and saffron and its base notes are soft cedar, rose tincture, and musk. These notes blend to create a fragrance that can be worn in any season, day or night. This perfume was created by Olivier Pescheux.

Refreshing Scent
Normally I wear Jo Malone, but a visit to the Diptyque counter prompted me to purchase from this line of fragrances. I own Volutes, Oyeedo and Florabellio. And I like them in that order. I tend to go towards sweeter scents which drew me to L'Eau de Tarooco. Nice balance of sweet and fresh. Like Jo Malone, the staying power isn't too long..maybe 4 hours. But this is a generous size bottle of cologne and an even better deal on Fragrancex.com. If you like sweet and zesty scents, give this a whirl. Or spritz!
