A purveyor of exotic fragrances, Guerlain introduced its first of this scent in 1925. The iconic perfume was inspired by the love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. The lovers spent their days in the exquisite Gardens of Shalimar which housed rare trees, flowers, waterfalls, and fountains. After she passed away during the birth of their fourteenth child, he built the Taj Mahal in her honor. Both the historical tale and perfumes are magic personified. In addition to fine perfumes, the brand offers colognes, makeup and skin care. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

it's exactly what I wanted

Guerlain changes its Shalimar light perfume every year and this one is the one I wanted. I use it every day in spring

Wonderful fragrzance

After using this fragrance for many years, Guerlain discontinued selling it in stores. It differs from the original Shalimar in that it's not as strong and it has other frangrance notes lacking in the original Shalimar. Shalimar Light offers some "citrusy" notes that are wonderful and refreshing, as well as the hint of vanilla that is the trademark of the original Shalimar. A great frangrance to wear year-round.

Long Lost Fragrance Found!

[...] I love it because it's not as strong as Shalimar, yet still has a distinctive unique fragrance. It's my signature. It's not so strong that people notice when you enter a room, but when someone hugs you to welcome you they sniff in delight...

My absolute favourite fragrance ever!

I discovered this fragrance by accident at a discount store about a year ago. I have since gone through about 5 bottles of the stuff. I can't seem to get enough of it and think that I may be addicted to it. It is very light so I tend to refresh it several times a day. it is especially beautiful in the summer but I wear it year round. [...]. It is seriously my favourite perfume and that is coming from a perfume-aholic.
