Very very mainstream and weak
Utterly disappointed with the smell and performance. Had to spray 3 times by noon on a work day to actually smell like it. It is not strong at all, becomes very weak after an hour. The smell feel really diluted, like something is missing. Reminds me a lot of Mon Guerlain and I prefer Mon Guerlain's little to touch of sophistication over this. The Scent Absolute is really basic, like a cheap spray. I actually quite like the original The Scent, perhaps because I haven't smelled other peach scents and this smells a tad synthetic.

Beautiful and sophisticated, love it
It has a gentle powdery tone to it that makes it feel really romantic but also lots of warmth and sweetness to it from the other tones. It's not overwhelming but the sent lingers all day. This can easily be a daily signature scent, I think most people would enjoy it.

Love at first sniff, what can I say Coffee; vanilla, peach and honey much better then the famouse one hugo boss the scent PA and it last longer even I think it does not last to long ( 4 hours on my skin) I love it from the start to end

Little overwhelming
I've had this for a few months and I'm still not sure what to think of this perfume. It was a blind buy because Hugo usually has decent perfumes. I find this one way too warm and strong. My advice is, don't spray it on your neck because you may end up with a bad headache. I can see wearing this on a cold winter day. Definitely not for hot summer days/nights.

I was debating whether to purchase something I've never smelled, and reading reviews and description about it I've decided to give it a shot. During my high school days (20 yrs ago) I had Hugo Boss Orange and Femme and thought they were not bad...which is why I decided to try this one. For scent reference - my favourite perfume smell is Gucci Guilty, and smelling Hugo Boss The Scent Absolute there is a hint or resemblance of Gucci Guilty, which makes me love this even more! So - it is definitely unique! Once I sprayed it on my wrist, the first thing that's apparent is how different it smells from typical perfumes - very cozy and warm. Almost a "woody-vanilla" type of rich smell. Lasting at least 5+ hrs (one spray on the wrist). The only con I would say is, if you are used to doing few sprays all over, it would be overpowering and headache inducing..so one to two sprays goes a long way. It's not a spring/summer perfume unless maybe on a chilly night. Also I would say it's a 30+ kind of perfume - sexy, cozy, yet a bit mature. (And not Chanel no.5 type of mature, that's 70+ IMHO)
