Not What It Was, But Still Nice
I originally wore Silences by Jacomo in the late '70's through to the mid '80's. It was one of my favourite go-to fragrances for daytime use. After a very long break from using Silences, I thought I would like to revisit the fragrance. After all these years, and I presume, several reformulations, it no longer smells like it originally did. That being said, Silences is still a very pleasant light, feminine fragrance, with nice floral tones and a slight green essence. It has moderate sillage, and at least on me, it needs to be reapplied throughout the day. Good value for the money, worth a try if you are looking for a new summer fragrance.

70's vibe
Bought Parfum de toilette tester from Fragrance X and loved it so much that when i found the Eau de parfum, which is even better, in a local store i bought it immediatelly. It is vibrant and a bit peppery. Its a classic 70s perfume.

Softy Shimmering Green
Silences. Found this sitting on a shop counter in the 1980s. Every time I passed I just had to go in and smell it again, and only recently I bought it for the first time. It is green, cool, softly floral, elegant. Unique and versatile, could wear in any setting. It also smells as I remember it from the 1980s, and that is no small thing in these horrid reformulation times we live in. happy to own it at last.

good, perfectly wearable
I did not find it so similar to Chanel 19 as purported. It is a good, well-balanced fragrance, with a bit of greenness that does not get harsh, as is very often the case with green fragrances. Will not ofend anyone and is perfectly wearable for any occasion. Does not smell very expensive (although by no means cheap either!) and this version does not have an unforgettable personality (I expected a bit more in that direction, honestly). Still, incredible price/quality ratio.

Never again!
The product was damaged. I called to begin the return process and they were nasty and rude. It took over 2 weeks. I was given a choice of having the perfume replaced or my account credited. I requested the product be replaced. Almost 3 weeks later, my account was credted. No replacement nor reson for one not being sent. An awful company that I will never do business with again. I have used this purfume for many years and love it and will find it someplace else.

Divine fragrance - Silences
Hello, I've just received Silences by Jacomo. The box is promising, the bottle is magnificent. The fragrance...I am so released! During this surprisingly short time that I've been waiting for delivery, I seriously studied all oft he notes. I've been scared: it would bee overpowering. It would be too common, prosaic. Now feel like wearing beautiful unique silky scarf that nobody else can buy because it is one of the kind. It makes me feel good, because I know that in the crowd I'll smell soooo differently. Elegance in a classic bottle
Beautiful classic bottle with strong writing which makes me think of dynamic, organized and strong willed women. I like impact and on first spraying of this perfume, it comes across strong and woody but in a short time it mellows to a powdery floral smell. Reminds me of trees and smell of roses after a light rain. More of a fragrance for use at night.
