Launched in 1976, Eau de Patou was created by Jean Kerleo for the perfume house of Jean Patou. Jean Patou is known in the design world for popularizing the cardigan and designing custom looks for various actresses, tennis players and high society ladies. What started as a career in fashion led to the production of the perfumer’s first fragrance in 1925. The infamous designer has collaborated with such perfumers as Henri Almeras, Michel Duriez, Thomas Fontaine and Guy Robert, to create a fragrance base of 49 unique perfumes. I have been wearing this since I was an au paire in paris france where I discovered it.... like for 30 years. it's hard to find now as it is not made anymore! thanks for selling it, service was great from fragrance X online!

Eternal and rare perfume .
I used to have this perfume long time ago . And then , it deasapeared without a trace . I am glad to have this bottle again and when I smell it , I feel I am near the sea ... and near the lemon trees .

Reliving my youth
I initially bought this perfume when I was seventeen and absolutely loved it. It was fresh and clean but didn't last long on the skin, but I did not mind reapplying it. Now in my fifties, I decided to revisit my youth and hunted it out again. The initial smell was nice, but the overall lasting smell was unpleasant. This new perfume seems quite different to the one I initially bought. It's a lot stronger also. Either the recipe has changed or my taste buds have altered as I have aged.
