Jil Sander Sport Cologne by Jil Sander, Offering a refreshingly clean and modern scent, Jil Sander Sport is a 2005 fragrance that features woody, spicy and fresh accords. It opens with an invigorating blend of lemon skin, ginger and cardamom before revealing middle notes of papyrus and cedar leaves combined with the sharp spikiness of black pepper. The cologne closes out with base notes of sandalwood and cedar mingled with wood from the hinoki tree, a species of Japanese cypress with lemony and evergreen undertones. Like many of the brand’s other offerings, this fragrance reflects its aesthetic even in the look and feel of the packaging. In this case, a clear round bottle embodies both simplicity and sophistication.

Since 1978, German designer Jil Sander has brought cutting-edge fashions with a minimalistic aesthetic and fragrances with a clean, modern edge. The label has released more than 70 scents since 1979, including its inaugural Pure Man and Pure Woman duo and 2018’s Sunlight for women. All products are original, authentic name brands. Pleasant but not potent

The smell is average, but the scent is so light and transparent that it can not actually be smelt over 3hrs. Any perceived fragrance was gone within that time. As far as how it smells, there are some citric notes at the beginning but then the pepper, spices, and woods dominate the majority of the scent.

Bottom Line

No, I would not recommend to a friend.
