Judith Leiber is a world-renowned luxury handbag designer born in 1921 in Hungary. She was the first woman to join an artisan group of bag designers in Budapest. During World War Ii, her father helped her escape the Holocaust with documents that are currently preserved in the Holocaust Museum in Washington Dc. She married American soldier Gerson Leiber and immigrated to the United States in 1948.
