Micallef Aoud Gourmet Perfume by M. Micallef, Created and released in 2008, Micallef Aoud Gourmet is a musky, woody fragrance with hints of sweetness and spice. The blend has a uniquely sweet opening, with top notes of marzipan and white honey filling the senses with dessert-like satisfaction. The woody accords start to show through with heart notes of patchouli, Virginia cedar wood, clove, and nutmeg, followed by a base of cashmere, amber, musk, and sandalwood notes. Founded in Grasse, France in 1996, M. Micallef is a joint partnership featuring designer Martine Micallef and perfumer Geoffrey Nejman. Grasse is largely considered to be the birthplace of the fragrance industry. The designer also runs a well-known beauty institute in Cannes, France. All fragrances in the collection were worked on in collaboration with perfumer Jean-Claude Astier. Today the company has 140 perfumes in its collection, with the latest perfume release being in 2018.
