The perfume house of Oscar De La Renta is part of the designer’s larger fashion brand. The Dominican-born De La Renta studied painting at Madrid’s Academy of San Fernando before switching to the world of fashion couture in the 1960s. Oscar founded his own fashion house in 1965, after working for the legendary Elizabeth Arden for a few years and establishing his own following. He launched his first fragrance in 1977.
