Lumiere Rose is a very unique perfume. It smells like a pink bubble bath rose w/ an indolic orange blossom at the beginning of the fragrance. As it progresses it becomes a musky, anis scent combined w/ the rose note and orange blossom. It has a warm spiciness from the anis but it isn't cloying. Soft, comforting and unique. This could be a rose fragrance for those who dislike traditional rose perfumes. Very unique and interesting beauty in my collection.

A great rosy surprise
The pricing for Parfums Gres are alway great and the qualiity of the juice is equally as good. I would say that you shouldnt expect all dlay longevity , but it would last you until lunch time appx 4-5 hours . Its sweet with floral and fruity touches and the licorice adds a touch of spicy and powder . Its very feminine, however, if you dont like licorice pass on this

Beautiful Scent!
This was a blind buy, and I was pleasantly surprised. The rose and licorice notes work really well together. Very sweet, jammy rose here. Only downside is the scent is not very strong, but at this price, bathing in it is an option so.. :)

This one is not for me!
This was a blind buy as I was hoping to find a less expensive rose fragrance to replace my very expensive favourite... but I didn't like the scent at all. Too cloying and sweet for me, in an old-fashioned way. Others might like it, but I couldn't wait to shower it off!

Looooooooooooooooove This Perfume!
I jsut love this perfume. So much so I keep an extra one there! Parfums Gres make very beautiful perfumes. Ones that hold, warm sensual perfumes, feminine and caressing. Long lasting. People stop me in the street to ask me what it is Im wearing, and every one is Parfums Gres perfumes.

Really Beautiful...now
At first I found it an unusual fragrance from what I usually wear. After wearing it a few times, I realised just how lovely this fragrance is. It is really warm, honeyish, sweet, captivating in a really sensuous and private way. It is long lasting, and not overpowering. It is a really personal fragrance. Why? I think its in its warmth, and its way it can become the person you are. Its wears like a glove, not something that is put on the shelf. It becomes YOU.I realised that perfumes from this brand are truly lovely.It was blind faith that bought this, but faith gave me a wonderful present!

Hi. :-) So I bought this scent out of thin air with no reviews. Thought I'd give it a go, as I do appreciate all kinds of scents. I was invariably startled by just how beautiful this perfume is: Its warm. Sensual. Flirts in a mature way. This perfume has some keen beautiful note that makes me want to know more. This scent is like a secret that reveals itself only as time can tell.I love this scent. It stays. It's not overpowering, it has an original and unique character. It reminds me of passionate dancers, and headiness of roses on a warm sunset; warmth in the cold; the conjoining of the anima and the animus. If you choose to love this perfume you will know exactly what I am talking about. I can see this perfume for all occasion types, but then again, like some of you, if I like a perfume, I wear what I like at my own discretion. Perhaps this is what this perfume is all about.
