Salvador Dali Sunrise In Cadaques Perfume by Salvador Dali, Salvador Dali Sunrise in Cadaques is a warm and sunny, feminine fragrance that pays homage to the renowned painter and his home in Cadaques.
The light and landscapes of the Spanish fishing port on the Mediterranean and the hills and plains beyond were a constant source of inspiration for Dali, a surrealist painter. This scent of mandarin, bergamot, elemi and pink peppercorns mingle in the top notes, which give way to floral middle notes of iris, jasmine, heliotrope and immortelle, which lends hints of caramel and spices. Spicy patchouli, musk, Peru balsam and the leathery smell of labdanum fill out the base notes.
Salvador Dali the painter began a partnership with perfume maker Cofinluxe and launched his first fragrance, self-titled, in 1983. Cofinluxe continues to create perfumes under the brand name, with about 70 total fragrances to date. Salvador Dali Sunrise is a new release for 2017, designed by Vincent Ricord. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.
This is a well rounded rather mature sort of citrus fragrance housed in a show stopper bottle.
It has been compared [on Fragrantica] to Hermes Eau de Merveilles although I cannot attest to that.
Priced nice for a competent fragrance offering.
