Serge Lutens was a highly sought-after artist and photographer before getting into cosmetics and fragrances. He didn’t create his first perfume until 1982, which was called Nombre Noir. He worked with Christian Dior in the late 1960s, helping to create signature palettes for the brand. In the 1970s, he dabbled in film making and travelled extensively, adding to his rich knowledge base of aromas. His refined fragrances won the perfumer award after award. Beautiful
This is a sophisticated, spicy ginger fragrance that exudes pure class. Unisex and I find it to be sexy, but not overt. The sillage is average and longevity is good (8 hrs). I am a big fan of Serge Lutens. This is also expensive smelling and I love it.

Spicy and Sweet!
Got this at a fantastic price. Five O'Clock Au Gingembre is a fresh and spicy scent with a slight ice tea sweetness. It's great to wear anytime but I particularly like it during the crisp fall weather and chilly winter.

I love the smell, it's calming and even though the tea note is a bit vague, it's still very nice.

Good niche perfume
Very sensual & attractive fragrance. It's more for winter time, or for intimate moments, or even for your own comfort. You can use it for relaxation at home. Very warm and positive. Also, because it's a niche, there aren't many people in the streets who wear it.
