Former Myrurgia perfume house executive, Javier Serra, created the company Dana in 1932. Though originally founded in Spain, Serra moved the company to Paris shortly after its launching. The company moved again to the United States, where it has remained since, when Germany occupied France in 1940. Serra named his company after Greek mythological figure Danae, the mother of Perseus, who was said to be quite beautiful. Danae has become a symbol for feminine beauty, and the basis for all perfumes produced by Serra’s company. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

This fragrance uses REAL vanilla, and it shows. It is the longest lasting, strongest vanilla fragrance I own. A real winner.

Very classic and elegant
I have heard about this perfume very long time ago but only recently am I able to buy one from this website! Thank you FragranceX!! I love this Heaven Sent Vanille! It has the rich and sweet smell of heaven. It's nearly a MEM quality one, and I bought several bottle of it for my friends.

Works with body chemistry.....eventually
The first time I tried it, my first reaction was, gawd a stinky old lady perfume. Twenty minutes later or so, and its really nice. It works with my body chemistry anyway.

nice
on me it's very nice classic floral and creamy vanila. but sometimes it reveals heavy patchouli notes. overall a nice one for day use, I think it smells a bit formal.

my daughter is learning about makeup , is only young and wore this to a dance. she loved it!!!
