Established in 1904 and located in France, Caron is a renowned perfume house. The brand first gained popularity in 1911 with the launch of a perfume called Narcisse Noir. It has remained an innovative icon in the fragrance industry since then. In addition to lovely men's, women's and unisex scents, the company produced a luxury face powder in the 1930s that is still available today. I like the perfume
I like these perfumes. I have ordered them in the beginning of October, but haven't got yet. And this company has bad Custom support. I wrote many e-mails with questions about help, but never got answer. I will get the perfume or money back.

For classics lovers...
If you're looking for a thrill, NdN certainly won't match : it might be a refined classic fragrance, but it lacks that little "je-ne-sais-quoi" which makes others fragrances of a similar type (i.e. Chanel N°5) unforgettable and full of personality. Too bad ! I really had high expectations about sth coming from the respected Caron perfume house... Nice but not exciting !

The jewel of all perfumes
This is a truly rare scent, soft, floral, sophisticated and very refined indeed. It compares well with the original l'Interdit by Givenchy.

Great Fragrance, unusual
It's beautiful perfume, quite unusual, one you don't generally smell on anyone else so gives a sense of uniqueness when worn. When people ask what the name of the fragrance is, I have yet to find anyone who knows the brand.

Intoxicatingly Delicious.
Nut de Noel was my elegant Grandmother's perfume. It was also the fragrance my beautiful Mother used when I was a child. I was happy to find it had not changed. The product arrived in the gorgeous and memorable bottle I remember seeing as a child. It is mysterious and classic. Thrilled to have found it again. It is wonderful for use on very, very special occasions. It is evocative of a bygone glamourous era where women wore evening gowns to dinner and men wore dinner jackets and smoked cigars after dinner. Thank you FragranceX for carrying such a marvelous and authentic product.

UNBELIEVABLE
THIS WAS A GIFT IN 1978. I BOUGHT IT AS MUCH AS I COULD, OVER THE YEARS..AND ONE DAY IT WAS DISCONTINUED! I WAS DEVASTATED. WHERE EVER I WENT I GOT FANTASTIC COMMENTS, THEN... I COULDN'T GET IT ANY MORE. ONE DAY, A WHILE AGO, I RECEIVED AN AD FROM FRAGRANCE X AND (futilly, I thought) ASKED FOR NUIT DE NOEL BY CARON. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, YOU GOT IT!!! Thank you. A lovely fragrance indeed!
I love this fragrance! It's very warm, alluring and comforting, and lasts all day (or night) without being overpowering. Just perfect to wear with cashmere sweater in cold winter days. Some might say it is best used in evenings or in special occasions, but I wear it whenever I want to feel myself special and sexy - every day!

A great, classic perfume
I started using this perfume in the 1970s then could no longer find it on the shelves in Australia. What a great surprise to find it on line, it's just as subtle and spicy as I remember. Everyone comments when I wear it and asks what it is. It's nice to wear something different that not everyone else is wearing. I have been buying it from FragranceX for over two years now and will continue to do so.

An aristocrat among perfumes
It is a perfume of discrete, sophisticated femininity,sensual without strident overtones. Very structured, very French, it will probably not appeal to everyone. But for a woman who is not an enthusiast of fruity/florals, it may be pure seduction... For me, it is as haunting as the smoke of frankincense that permeates the air of old Byzantine churches...

My All Time Favorite
I was given a sample of Nuit de Noel while on an elevator in Havana, Cuba with my Spanish class. I was 16 and fell in love with the fragrance. I have been using it ever since on very special occasions and holidays. I am now 76!

A classic of the ...
A classic of the classics. A complex fragrance with a fabulous drydown. Wonderful for holiday wear, but I use it all year long, too. I'm not often a fan of oriental fragrances, but this one is quite beautiful.
