Cuir Mauresque is a blend of cinnamon, amber, myrrh, incense, burnt styrax, cedar, civet, nutmeg, aloe wood, clove, musk, cumin, mandarin peel and orange blossom. This fragrance is very long lasting and has heavy sillage. It comes in a tall slender falcon with a black topper shaped as a sphere.

Serge Lutens is an artist with many talents. He has worked in fashion design, hair styling, perfume design, photography, and filmmaking. After beginning his career as a hair stylist, he began working with top photographers and models in the 1960s for Vogue magazine. He produced his first line of cosmetics in 1967 for Christian Dior. He then worked as a photographer in the 1970s before getting into the perfume business in 1982. He launched his own perfume in 2000, specializing in niche fragrances.
