Serge Lutens began his career in beauty, first as a hair stylist and later as a makeup artist and photographer. He eventually created makeup, hairstyles, and jewelry for Vogue magazine and collaborated with other fashion magazines through the 1960s. From 1967 to 1980, Lutens developed makeup products for Christian Dior and then entered a collaboration agreement with Shiseido in 1980. The fragrance line launched in 2000, with Shiseido acquiring the trademark rights in 2016 and Lutens remaining involved as creative director. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Quality expensive smelling Amber, smooth with touches of herbs. Patcholli and vanilla on the dry down, love it!

Beautiful Amber
Ambre Sultan is a drier amber perfume than most classic ambers. It opens with a dry almost herbal note, then progresses into sweeter vanillic notes. I find it is perfect for cold weather wear. It's spices and sweetness provide a counterpoint for chilly weather.

Ambre Sultan is an ideal winter perfume
Ambre Sultan is, for me, an ideal winter perfume. Just to be surrounded by it, strolling through the snow............ Smelling the scent mixed with the aroma of hot chocolate....... Heaven. In the morning, when you put it on, it opens perspectives for your day and chases negative impulses. Before you step into bed, there is a strong, luxurious whiff coming up. You smile as you recognize it. Silently with you on a soirée, it will be as good a companion as an interesting conversation partner.
